Our purpose…
At Inside to Outside we help people restore balance in their nervous system, health and daily life. Modern life often leaves people stuck in patterns of stress, fatigue and disconnection from their natural rhythms. Through one-to-one sessions, classes, workshops and retreats we work together to understand what is driving these patterns and introduce practical adjustments to breathing, movement, environment, nutrition and lifestyle. The process is simple and structured, helping people step out of survival mode and return to a more stable, clear and resilient state from which real change can happen.

1. Recalibration Forge – One to One – In person or online
A one-to-one service designed to help people reset and stabilise their nervous system, health and daily rhythm. Through structured conversations and practical adjustments to breathing, movement, lifestyle and environment, we work together to reduce stress patterns and restore balance.
Each session provides clear insight and simple actions that help you recalibrate your body and mind so you can move through life with greater clarity, resilience and strength.

2. Recalibration Classes – Movement and Meditation
Reset your body, calm your mind, reclaim your balance.
Step into a session designed to reset and harmonise your body and mind. Using a blend of yoga, qigong, breathwork, and meditation, this class guides you to release tension, restore energy flow, and calm the nervous system. Each session combines mindful movement with intentional breathing and meditative focus, helping you reconnect with your natural rhythms, improve resilience, and move through life with greater clarity and balance. Suitable for all levels, this class is about finding your own pace, your own space, and your own reset.

3. The Recalibration Workshop – Awakening Balance
A full-day immersive experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, mind, and natural rhythms. Through guided movement, breathwork, meditation, and mindful practices drawn from yoga, qigong, and nervous system regulation techniques, you’ll explore ways to release tension, restore energy, and step into a calmer, more resilient state. This workshop is an invitation to pause, reflect, and begin shaping a life that feels aligned, clear, and balanced. Suitable for all levels, it offers a taste of what sustained recalibration can bring to your daily life.

4. Recalibration Retreat – Casa Serene, La Joya, Spain
Join us for an immersive retreat in the stunning natural beauty of La Joya, Spain, from June 16th to 21st. This collaborative experience blends yoga, meditation, qigong, reflective practices, and mindful time in nature, all designed to help you reset, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. Enjoy full-board vegetarian meals, thoughtfully prepared to nourish your body and complement the work you’ll do on your mind and spirit.
Whether you’re seeking clarity, calm, or simply a pause from the everyday, this retreat offers a supportive container for growth and presence. The programme is offered in collaboration with wonderful and skilled practitioners, whom I am very grateful to.

Recalibration Sessions – Nervous System & Lifestyle
Each session is tailored to you. After an initial meeting we can decide together whether to tailor our six week programme to you or meet as and when suits your needs and progress. Some of the core areas we will work on are listed below:
Identify the Stressors – A nervous system on high alert can perceived in many different ways, we help you to identify what is nourishing your systems and what is causing you stress. First we need to reset and take you closer to your baseline, its easier from there.
Tailored Movement Practice – Every body is different as is every mind and temperament. We will help you to find and develop a movement practice that works for you.
Strength of habituation – Changing ingrained habits is difficult, but not impossible. It is much easier with help though!
Resilience – As we start to add what we need and remove what no longer serves us our resilience builds.
The American Psychological Association (APA) define resilience as; “the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress.”
Reconnection – Body with mind, soil to fork, inner world with outer sense organs. Living more in the flow state. There is much we can do here.
Refinement – Change is gradual and not all relevant changes will present themselves at once. We use refinement to apply, observe, rethink and then apply once more. This will be applied with diet, exercise, social needs, recovery techniques and whatever other need is uncovered.
These qualities already live in you. We all struggle and our work on an individual and social level is to help them reawaken and develop into strong, foundational roots.

I’m Mark Smith. I’ve spent years guiding others through movement, nourishment, and mindful practices.
I’m passionate about what I do and love to help people to help themselves. I’m here to offer a reliable, calm and steady presence to enable and accelerate learning, discovery and healing.
